Caja, Thunar, Nautilus, Nemo file managers

Thunar or Caja ?

Thunar is very good for the visually impaired because he is less loaded with information.
Caja is better for the blind because it is vocalized.

Thunar has some interesting’personalised actions’.

Caja can use custom actions, thanks to the tool : scripts.

Nautilus and Nemo are other file managers. They allow for a

Interesting : there are folders or files that do not open with Thunar and open with Nautilus. Concretely : launch Nautilus first, then go play in the folder-files area.

List or icon display ?

It depends on the person’s visual field, his or her visual strategy. That’s why AccessDV Linux gives users a choice.
